  • Dr.
    Suzanne J. Smith, VMD
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Suzanne Smith is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She Received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Dr. Smith has been involved in the veterinary community as a former President of the NJ Veterinary Medical Association. She founded the New Jersey Animal Hall of Fame. She has served as Chair of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society and she served several years on their Admission Committee. Additionally, Dr. Smith has served in the past on committees of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. Dr. Smith was a member of NJ Governor’s Lyme Disease Advisory Committee. She served several terms on the Executive Board of Mane Stream, a therapeutic riding center, in Oldwick, NJ. She currently serves on the board of Riding With Heart, a therapeutic riding center in Pittstown, NJ. Dr. Smith has spent the last fifteen years involved in NAVS (Native American Veterinary Services) as a veterinary volunteer on several of the poorer reservations in the Southwest performing surgical procedures and providing veterinary care for horses and small animals. As part of her efforts in NAVS she dedicated time mentoring and teaching veterinary and pre-veterinary students in New Mexico and Arizona.

    Laura Bylina,
    DVM, MS

    Dr. Laura Bylina is a Hunterdon county native who grew up riding and working at local
    hunter/jumper farms. She received her Bachelors in Animal Science from the University of
    Connecticut. In 2013, she decided to pursue a Masters in Equine Reproduction with a specialty
    in stallion reproduction at Colorado State University. While at CSU, she worked in the stallion
    lab for 3 years handling/collecting stallions for shipment, performing research, and was
    involved in teaching many of the CSU reproductive short courses. Following her Masters, Dr. 
    Laura pursued a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University and finished her 
    clinical year at The Ohio State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her professional 
    interests include preventative medicine, reproduction, and internal medicine.

  • Ashley M
    Veterinary Assistant

    Ashley has been at Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital since 2014. She has three cats, and also takes care of her German Shepherd 'nephew'. Before she started working at Spring Mills, she was an animal control officer at her local SPCA. Outside of work, she enjoys snowboarding and was a gymnastics coach for several years.

    Veterinary Assitant

    Sam started working at Spring Mills in 2019. Her love for animals started at a very young age, and she began working in the veterinary field when she was in high school. When she is not at work, she can usually be found spending time with her dogs, or her horse. She enjoys dog training, and does agility with her dogs. She is currently in school to become a certified veterinary technician.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Amanda started working at Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital in 2021. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2018. She currently has one dog at home. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, and playing video games. 

  • Morgan K
    Veterinary Assistant

    Morgan began at Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital as an intern, and then was hired in 2020. She is currently in college pursuing a biology degree. She has both a dog and a cat at home.

    Veterinary Technician

    Deb has worked at Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital in the past, and began working with us again in 2021. At home, she has several dogs, cats and horses.
